When we begin to realize God is in control,we begin to understand there is a purpose to our life. To a victim of domestic violence, they often feel they don't have a purpose. They don't understand "Trust in the Lord". They don't have the strength to trust anyone. Beginning slowly, we introduce trust back into the lives touched by violence. This is Community Welcome House's purpose. God is in control. If we believe, the trust comes back.

ReplyDeleteWe must trust "in" God. While we strive for peace, unity and harmony "with" man.
This is why it is of utmost importance for our character to be transformed. We harm others when we say one then and then act against it. God said for our "yes to be yes" and our "no to be no". He also cautioned us to discern others actions and not mindlessly believe what they say.
So thankful for the values of CWH and it's desire for being a safe place to heal.
